About CASCADES

Research makes more sense in context.

A search result tells you what exists. Its connections help you decide what to read next.

From a result to a research trail

CASCADES brings papers, researchers, topics, and model repositories into an atlas you can explore. Start with a title or a question, open the surrounding graph, and inspect the evidence behind a relationship.

Sources come first

OpenAlex supplies scholarly metadata, including authors, references, and topic assignments. Hugging Face supplies model repository metadata and explicit paper references. Each documented graph connection keeps its source link and the field that supports it.

Useful connections, honest limits

A citation does not establish endorsement, causality, or technical inheritance. A repository linking a paper does not prove that it reproduces the paper. Computed similarity, when present, is labeled separately from documented relationships.

The atlas shows a bounded slice of available records. An absent link can mean missing coverage. Timelines and communities describe the retrieved sample, not the entire field.

Room for your own judgment

Investigations gather evidence you can inspect and export. Optional AI synthesis separates source statements from inferences and lists uncertainties. The original research remains the place to verify a claim.
